The WFHG series drum dryer is a cylinder slightly inclined from the horizontal direction. Material is fed from the higher end, and warm flue gas enters the cylinder along with the material. As the cylinder rotates, the material moves to the lower end due to gravity. Inside the cylinder are lifting plates that lift the material up and then drop it down to enhance the surface area exposed to the airflow, thus accelerating the drying and promoting the forward movement of material. Warm air is used to rapidly dry the material. The equipment features an excellent scalability; since the design takes into account production capacity reserves, there is no need to replace the equipment even if the output increases slightly.

The direct hot air injection from a thermal furnace serves as the heating method. Inside the cylinder, multi-angle lifting-type lifting plates are rationally arranged to ensure that the material is evenly spread and exposed to a large heating area. This allows the material to undergo sufficient heat exchange with high-temperature furnace gases, resulting in favorable drying effects.

The cylinder surface is covered with heat-resistant thermal insulation material, ensuring that the surface temperature rise is less than 15°C, which significantly reduces energy consumption; it’s furnished with a steel ball striking device to prevent sticking to the wall.
