The WFLQ series drum cooler is a machine that achieves cooling effects through vapor compression or absorption cycles. It dissipates the heat from dried materials and reduces moisture content. This machine is one of the key equipment in the fertilizer industry, principally used for cooling formed fertilizer pellets. As the pellet temperature decreases, the moisture content also drops, while the pellet strength correspondingly increases.

This machine draws ambient air continuously from the hood above the cooler’s tail section through a fan connected at the exhaust port of the machine head. As the body of the machine rotates constantly, the internal lifting plates repeatedly raise and drop the formed pellets, allowing the material to come into full contact with the cold air to facilitate heat exchange, thereby achieving uniform cooling.
